Boot Camp at Fort Ord, California.

Advanced Individual Training at Fort Sill, Oklahoma.

I was assigned to: Headquarters, Headquarters Battery, 8th Infantry Division Artillery, at Baumholder, West Germany in ’65 & ’66 as a surveyor, mostly tested artillery and the Honest John’s ability to hit a target at Grafenveer, during their unit’s General Inspection.

From which I used all of my two months of leave to tour all of Europe.
